Arsenal Ladies’ Jordan Nobbs was named London Women’s Player…

About Jordan

A prolific goal-scoring midfielder, Jordan has firmly established herself for both club and country since joining Arsenal in 2010.

She has represented the England Women’s national football team at youth and senior level, producing a string of impressive displays along the way as she made the transition to the senior set up.

She was made vice-captain at the Cyprus Cup in 2015 on the back of this, leading the team to the trophy after captain Steph Houghton picked up an injury, and was a member of the Women’s World Cup England squad that won bronze in Canada.

The daughter of former Hartlepool United defender Keith Nobbs, Jordan earned a prestigious transfer to Arsenal in 2010 having won the FA Young Player of the Year Award in the same year at her previous club Sunderland.

Since moving to the capital she has played an integral role in the clubs’ continued success, with her goal scoring exploits helping Arsenal win the Women’s Super League on two occasions, the FA Women’s Super League Cup four times and the FA Women’s Cup four times.

Most recently, Jordan played a crucial role in Arsenal ladies 1-0 FA Cup win over Chelsea ladies at Wembley Stadium. She also scored twice in the first half during a 3-0 win over Notts County to help the Gunners lift the Continental Cup.
